Camping trip!

So I realized I have not wrote since my camping trip to Lake Metigoshie. Camping was a blast!! I will upload some pictures of that experience with my family. Funny story and well kind of a downfall to our trip. Before we even left to go camping, we were trying to fill the campers water tank up so we could shower in there instead of the nasty bathrooms at the campsite. Well it was going good, water was going in, we were pilling stuff up into the camper. Food, blankets, more food. ha ha! When we noticed the water gauge was not moving from empty, we checked the hose no leakage going on, the water was on. We were all confused on what was going on, when my dad looked under the camper and saw the water was making a puddle, there was a hole in the water tank! Go figure!! Thats what happens when you rent a camper from the Rec Center.

So we said oh well forget it we will just use the water at the campsites. So back to our voyage!! ha ha We left to go camping, Derek and I were following behind my dad's truck with my mom, Michelle, my older sister Jess, and her, well now.. fiance.(We will talk more about that later) Nick, my dad Dan, and our Irish Setter Ginger. The trip was going well we were little over an hour into it, and Derek and I were jamming along to the radio. When all of a sudden I felt the car jerk to the right, and I looked out the window and saw part of the tire fly past my car. .... my dad's tire. The tire caused a bit of damage to my dad's truck and he was furious!

So... swore words were thrown around, options were being discussed, and we found the solution! My dad had a spare tire at home, that he hadn't had a chance to put on yet. So Nick and Dad took my car and drove to get it. Did I mention we were a little over an hour into our trip, and from home. Not only did they need to get the tire, they had to have it mounted. So... the wait began. First it was fun....I stood on the tire, and it was like a mini trampoline. ha ha!!

Then the wait became a drag, and I wanted to go and sit down, so Derek and I decided to go unlock the camper and sit in there. Well.... we unlocked the door, and to my surprise I turned the corner and saw my cat!!! Yes, the third bad thing we encountered on the way to our camping trip!!! Let me tell you thats not the last of it.

To make matters worse, the cat, that we didn't even know snuck in, used the bathroom on my parents bed in the camper!!! Yes, now lets count them. Water tank leak, tire is gone, cat is in the camper, the smell of urine lingers the camper. It was a long 2 hour wait lets just say that.... But finally!!! out in the horizon we see my car!! YES!!! Help has arrived!!! It may be getting late but they made it!!!

Help has arrived!!! and in little of 20 minutes. We are on the road again!!! By the time we got to the campsite it was dark out, but we managed to set up our tent, and start a warm fire!! Let me add if you go camping in September, and your sleeping in a tent, bring a lot of blankets. Derek and I froze that night we had to go out and buy sleeping bags!! ha ha!!! Overall the camping was a blast!!! Minus the rain, and the cold!

Camping was a blast, and I will never forget the fun I had!!! Since September, I have been working my booty off trying to save money for school, and for Christmas presents of course!! ha ha!! But since Christmas has passed it is time to start saving!!! Btw did I mention I got a MacBook Air for Christmas!! I am in love!! ha ha!!! I will post pictures from Christmas as soon as I get them uploaded!!!

Enjoy the snow or heat whichever applies to you!! ha ha!!! as for me its snow!!! Good ol' North Dakota. I am headed off to watch Toy Story 3, with my baby, and enjoy snuggling up and staying warm!!!

I found another before and after makeup tutorial that I tried tonight, and it turned out to look good. I found another good makeup artist that is amazing, tiffanyd. Here is the video I got my look from this evening: Tiffanyd She has a lot of amazing looks, and she uses mostly M.A.C makeup, so if you have M.A.C makeup in your collection she is definitely someone to keep an eye on. (: 
Tomorrow I leave to go camping with Derek, and my family so I wont be writing in my blog until Monday. But don't worry I should have a lot of wilderness pictures to be scoping out!! (: North Dakota doesn't have that many good parks, to camp at, but ever since I was a little girl we found this perfect campsite!!! I love it!! Its amazing, everything is very gorgeous!! 


Until then here is my make up for tonight!! (: 

I put my moisturizer on, I use "Olay Complete, for sensitive skin." It works wonders on my skin, I love it! (: 
Next I applied my foundation. I use "l'Oreal True Match" in shade W4. It works just as well as the high priced foundation, and has the same ingredients. The same stuff as the expensive type for cheap, I call that a deal!!! I put that foundation all over my face especially the eyelids where it tends to be the most red. Then I use the same brand of foundation in a darker color. 

Next I applied Primer Potion, which you can purchase at Sephora. I use the color "Eden" it matches very well with my skin tone! Amazing stuff. Put it on before applying eye shadow, and it prevents creasing, plus its an excellent base for eyeshadow!! You can watch TiffanyD's video I posted at the top for step by step application process. (: I added an extra light brown color to my eyebrows to make them more defined, in her video she did not do this, just added it on myself. (: I also used a  liquid liner by almay on my upper lids instead of mac. Until then, here is my after look!!!  (:

Hello Ya'll! (:

Hey you bloggers!! So I have decided to try a makeup look, before and after posting and see how this goes. I have been watching and following a women named Kandee Johnson. She is a fabulous makeup artist, and is such an inspiration to everyone out there! She hosts these "glaminars" for everyone of all ages to go to, and not only learn about makeup but life lessons as well. Kandee should be known by everyone. She changes people lives on a daily basis, and is definitely my role model. Thank you Kandee, for everything you do!! 
So my makeup that I tried to accomplish by watching her videos was the "Nude Makeup Look." I also did my eyebrows with her "Defining your eyebrows."

Here is the after from the "Nude Makeup"

The eyes are pretty simple just the color from M.A.C "naked lunch", and from the "The Balm Shady Lady Palette #2" the color "devilish Danielle" It was very simply. Just mix your moisturizer with your foundation for a light look. Line your bottom and upper rims with black eyeliner. Go over the upper rim, with a soft grey liner. Curl your lashes, mascara. On your cheeks put a frosty lip color or Kandee uses "shell" from mac. Also dab some "posey" from mac. (: For your lips take a nude lipstick and a pinky lip gloss. And TA-DA!!! Your nude makeup is set!! (:

Tuesday; (: 4 Days left till camping trip!

Im baaaaccckkkk! (: I promised my boyfriend I would write in my blog every day. Me and Derek have been dating for a year and 3 months. (: Derek was my neighbor in Kansas, and I had a huge!! crush on him, but I was a young'n and didn't know if he liked me back, so I kept my feelings to myself. I realized I should have told him my feelings because lone and behold he had the same feelings for me. (: Derek moved away from Kansas a year after I got there, it was depressing, but I didn't really think anything of it. My dad soon retired from the Air Force, and we ended up back in North Dakota, I was checking my myspace one day and saw I had a message, from the one and only Derek. My heart was thumping in my chest as I read the message, it wasn't expressing feelings, or saying he missed me, just simply, "I saw you online thought I would say hey" From then on I knew I could not let him get away from me twice!! As my hands got sweaty, and my heart was thumping out of my chest, I replied. Soon after the messages back and forth, we started texting each other. My feelings for him grew day after day, and I realized I was falling in love with him. Derek is anything I could ever ask for, and anything and everything that I need!! The first time I saw Derek again, when I picked him up at the airport, the same feelings flew up from when I saw the message on myspace. My hands got sweaty, my heart was thumping, I was nervous, excited, anxious all at once!! I saw him, and his smile and I melted. I grew shy, and didn't know how to react! 
I cannot see myself without Derek, he is my life long partner, my best friend, my soul mate. I love you babe!! 
As I sit here and watch Money Hungry on VH1, I realized how back stabbing people have become, and how obese America is. 
Well I am off to eat my oatmeal! (: And lay on this comfy leather couch, with my puppy chug. (:  This is my honey bear!! She is 2 months old and I love her to death!! (: 

This is the man of my dreams. I will never lose him!

First Post!! How exciting!!

So here I am, typing my first blog, while sitting on my waterbed watching Harry Potter. (: I know it's kind of a nerdy type of thing to do, but I don't care what people think of me! (: ha ha! I guess I will introduce myself and explain who I am. 
I was born Aimee Danielle on August 18th, at 1:18 in the morning. I was born in a small town in Michigan, around where my parents grew up. I  have 2 siblings; both of which are older. My oldest sibling is Brad Charles. When I was growing up we weren't so easy to get along with. I guess being a boy, and having 2 sisters running around you with your friends around wasn't always "cool". My brother went to law school, and is waiting to here back from the BAR exam he took. My brother got married to Jessica, and now have a very happy little girl named Lily. I love my niece to death and would do anything in my power for her. Brad is very much into his love for video games. (: Every friday is "gaming and nacho time" over at his house. He lives just 20 minutes from me, yet sometimes I feel like we live 10 hours from each other. 
My other sibling is named Jessica Faye, which is basically what she is called. Faye was born April 18th. Her and I have always been close, that was until 2 years ago when she moved to Montana, and we seem to have lost touch since then. Faye loves loves loves!! photography. Cannot state that enough. She is dating Nick, who she met at McDonalds. Faye and Nick live in an apartment 20 minutes from me again. We have been mistaken for twins by numerous people, yet in our eyes we don't think we look anything alike. Go figure. Ha ha!


I graduated in May of 2009, with a total of 16 people in my class. Very small. The school I went to, is from Pre Kindergarten all the way to seniors. I came and transferred in during my junior year of high school from a 2,000 student ration to 120. It was quite a change. Mind blowing to say the least! The students at my school weren't kind to me at all! The girls had their clicks going and me being new and foreign to them, I wasn't liked. During my junior year, I had a rumor go around about me, from the junior girls. I remember coming home from school day after day and crying about how rude people can be to somebody that isn't from their town. I remember sitting on the couch crying telling my mom that I wanted to move in with my aunt, transfer schools, anything to get away from those rude people. She told me that it would get easier once I was there for awhile, but it never did. On my graduation day, the senior girls made a speech. I didn't think anything of it, until they started going down the line saying funny memories, jokes, and I didn't have any of those. Durning my two years of going to school their I stayed home quite a bit, so I didn't have to deal with the negative comments flying back and forth about me. As my name was spoken, I started getting nervous and shaking.... the things that came out of their mouths. It was like I was... dirt compared to them. "Aimee, we're glad you showed up today to be with us, and cough cough, aren't sick. ha ha ha ha!" My stomach turned, and the last thing I wanted to do, was be at my own graduation. 
I know how it is to be the new girl in town and be torn down, bit by bit, every day. But I got through it, I realized how boring their lives were, to have to make fun of someone just to feel accomplished. 


There's a little bit about myself, I hope I didn't bore you all with my "life story". My journey of life is just starting, and I would love to accomplish going to beauty school, I just don't know where to begin. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. (: Such as where to go to school, what the best school out there is, how much it typically costs, how successful the business is. Anything. 


I didn't realize it was so late, or early in the morning whichever way you look at it. ha ha!! Me and my puppy are going to continue to finish are Harry Potter marathon, and probably hit the pillows soon! (:
